About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Aerial Foreman to join our team at MasTec Communications Group. As a key member of our utility construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation and maintenance of telecommunications infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and repair aerial CATV, coaxial, and fiber cable
  • Place, relocate, and remove poles, lines, and other equipment to ensure efficient operation of customer facilities
  • Set up safety perimeters using signage, cones, and safety barriers
  • Review project plans and specifications to ensure compliance with approved design specifications
  • Direct the activities of the job site and ensure timely completion of projects
  • Communicate with area supervisors and managers to ensure seamless project execution
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in telecommunications construction
  • Pole setting experience required
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA safety requirements and ability to work in a safety-minded environment
  • Ability to operate a digger Derek truck and lift up to 70 lbs.
  • Comfortable working in a bucket truck and climbing poles
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to mentor and coach team members
