Responsibilities- Perform radiological and interventional procedures with precision and attention to detail.
- Coordinate patient care and communicate effectively with healthcare teams.
- Evaluate patient conditions and provide comprehensive direct patient care.
- Assure a safe and comforting environment for patients and families.
- Consult with staff as needed to meet patient needs.
- Manage clinical equipment and supplies with efficiency and safety.
- Demonstrate knowledge of patient growth and development across the lifespan.
- Perform Point of Care procedures and document required information.
- Stay up-to-date with equipment and supplies used in procedures.
- Participate in performance improvement activities and CQI initiatives.
- Associate Degree in Radiology or equivalent.
- Graduate of an educational program in radiology accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) or equivalent.
- Current Medical Radiologic Technologist certification with Texas Medical Board (TMB).
- Current radiology registration with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT)/Registered Radiologic Technologist RT(R).
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
