About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Director to join our team at Women In Need, Inc. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to lead our Behavioral Health Services and make a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients.

Job Summary:

The Clinical Director will be responsible for implementing new program designs to bring intensive clinical services into our program plan for clients. This role will also involve supervision of clinical and social service staff, evaluation and reporting, and crisis intervention.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a multi-disciplinary team, including Social Service Supervisors, Case Managers, and Client Care Coordinators.
  • Provide supervision to Social Service Supervisors to troubleshoot client issues and enhance direct reports' clinical case management skills.
  • Provide clinical supervision to Client Care Coordinators to ensure supportive counseling is provided to clients.
  • Develop and implement training programs for staff to enhance their clinical skills.
  • Conduct audits of client charts and supporting documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Establish linkages with community agencies to provide medical, mental health, and other services required by our clients.

Requirements:

  • CURRENT NYS LCSW or LMHC license and three (3) years of supervisory experience.
  • Demonstrated experience working with individuals with mental illness and substance abuse, preferably with homeless families.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bilingual – English/Spanish a plus.

Salary:

$90,000 per year
