Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Education Director to join our team at Mount Sinai Hospital. This is a full-time position with an estimated salary of $115,000 - $145,000 per year.

About the Role:

The Clinical Education Director will be responsible for managing, assessing, planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating clinical and educational activities. This includes orientation, staff development, and competency assessments. The ideal candidate will have experience in Nursing Education and/or Nursing Leadership and hold a Master's degree in Nursing/Allied Health.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement learning packages, presentations, and other educational materials to meet the needs of the staff.
  • Communicate plans for educational programs/materials to encourage participation, involvement, and cooperation.
  • Coordinate activities for development and updating of orientation plans and other educational materials for assigned areas.
  • Utilize the Performance Based Development System (PBDS) for assessment and evaluation of learning needs.
Requirements:
  • Masters degree in Nursing/Allied Health
  • Experience in Nursing Education and/or Nursing Leadership
  • New York State Nursing License, current registration
  • Demonstrated competence and progressive experience in Education and/or Management strongly preferred
  • Professional Board certification in clinical specialty or staff development recommended
