- Review and document medication administration records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with the Resident Care Director and Wellness Nurse to ensure medication updates and changes are implemented promptly.
- Assist with medication passes, observing and documenting resident responses and any concerns.
- Maintain confidentiality of resident information, including medication records and personal details.
- Report any resident concerns or issues to the Resident Care Director or Wellness Nurse.
- Restock medication carts and maintain a clean and organized medication room.
- Participate in training and education programs to enhance medication administration skills and knowledge.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; certifications and ongoing training may be necessary.
- Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
- Ability to make choices and decisions in the best interest of residents.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
