Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team at PeopleShare. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate shipping, receiving, and transactional data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the flow of goods in and out of the warehouse, including loading and unloading, product waste disposal, and shipping orders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet division goals, emphasizing customer service and inventory accuracy.
  • Perform daily tasks such as picking, packing, and shipping, ensuring top-level customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to 5S standards.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy, including stock rotation and cycle counting.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures and assist in other areas as required.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Communicate effectively with peers and management to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Prior Shipping and Receiving experience, preferably in a warehouse environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in computer programs and ERP systems, with SAP experience a plus.
  • Self-motivated with good time management and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Forklift experience a plus.
Working Conditions
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 25% of the time.
  • Must be able to bend, climb stairs, and continuously stand or walk 75% of the time.
  • Must be able to move within the office and plant to reach file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Must be able to use dexterity to handle small safety equipment and/or hazardous material.
  • Must be able to lift and carry 15-25 pounds and frequently move equipment weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively by listening and in both written and verbal forms.
