PSCI is seeking a highly skilled Digital Circuit Design Engineer to contribute to the development of cutting-edge circuit card solutions for next-generation radar systems.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills and a proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced design environment, working independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the full design cycle of circuit card assemblies (CCAs), from requirements definition through verification and validation testing at the circuit card level.
  • Conduct comprehensive design trade studies, evaluating cost, weight, packaging, power consumption, and other relevant factors.
  • Select appropriate parts and materials for CCA designs, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Capture and derive requirements for CCAs, including flowed and derived specifications.
  • Develop test requirements for CCAs to ensure thorough validation of design functionality.
  • Utilize industry-standard tools such as Cadence PSpice or LTSpice for circuit simulation and analysis.
  • Employ schematic capture and layout software like Mentor Graphics Xpedition or equivalent.
  • Leverage signal and power integrity analysis tools such as Mentor Graphics Hyperlynx to optimize CCA performance.
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and stakeholders at all levels.
Qualifications

The successful candidate will bring the following qualifications:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in circuit design, encompassing both digital and analog domains.
  • Proven expertise in CCA integration with testing tools, including power supplies, digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, electronic loads, and data acquisition devices.
  • Strong understanding of circuit failure mode analysis techniques.
  • Experience with requirements development for complex electrical systems.
  • Proficiency in Cadence PSpice, LTSpice, or equivalent simulation software.
  • Familiarity with Mentor Graphics Xpedition or similar schematic capture and layout tools.
  • Knowledge of signal and power integrity analysis using tools like Mentor Graphics Hyperlynx.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with high-speed digital interfaces (1GbE, PCIe, DDR4, etc.).
  • Familiarity with AMD Xilinx MPSoC/RFSoC component solutions.
  • Background in radar sensor electronics or applications.
