Position Overview:

NESCO Inc is seeking a skilled Digital Circuit Design Specialist to create innovative circuit card solutions for cutting-edge radar technologies.

The successful candidate will possess strong communication abilities and a proven track record of working autonomously in a dynamic design atmosphere.


Essential experience includes complex circuit card design, particularly with high-speed interfaces such as 100GbE, PCIe, and DDR4, alongside familiarity with AMD Xilinx Zync Ultrascale+ MPSoC / RFSoC platforms.

Key responsibilities encompass managing a Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) design throughout the entire design lifecycle, from requirements gathering to verification and validation testing at the circuit card level.


Required Qualifications:

  • Proficient in mixed-signal circuit card design encompassing digital, analog, and power elements.
  • Experience with CCA integration and testing tools, including power supplies, Digital Multi-Meters, Oscilloscopes, Electronic Loads, and Data Acquisition devices.
  • Ability to conduct design trade studies, assessing cost, weight, packaging, and power advantages.
  • Familiarity with parts and materials selection for CCA designs.
  • Experience in capturing flowed and derived requirements for CCA designs.
  • Ability to derive test requirements for CCA designs.
  • Proficient in using Cadence PSpice, LTSpice, or similar tools for circuit simulation and analysis.
  • Experience with Mentor Graphics / Siemens Xpedition or equivalent for schematic capture and layout is essential.
  • Knowledge of Mentor Graphics Siemens Hyperlynx or equivalent for signal and power integrity analysis.
  • Demonstrated capability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of design engineers and internal stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, agile environment to meet demanding schedules.
  • Self-motivated individual who can engage fully with team members and operate with limited oversight.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in designing and analyzing digital high-speed interfaces (1GbE, PCIe, DDR4, etc.).
  • Familiarity with AMD Xilinx MPSoC / RFSoC component solutions.
  • Knowledge of radar sensor electronics or applications.

Active Secret Clearance is mandatory to commence employment.
