Position OverviewThe Travel Clinical Research Assistant is an entry-level clinical position designed to integrate individuals into the Care Access Research process while teaching the necessary skills to become a Clinical Research Coordinator. This role offers potential growth and advancement within the Care Access Research organization.
Job Responsibilities- Perform clinical and administrative tasks in support of clinical trials.
- Assist in performing clinical procedures to collect data on patients enrolled and/or seeking enrollment in clinical studies.
- Participate in recruitment and pre-screening events.
- Prepare outreach materials and identify potential participants by reviewing medical records and study charts.
- Recruit new participants through phone screenings and request medical records of potential and current research participants.
- Schedule visits with participants, contact them with reminders, obtain informed consent, and complete visit procedures as required by protocol.
- Collect, process, and ship specimens, record data legibly, and enter it in real-time.
- Request study participant payments, update internal trackers, and assist with query resolution.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- A minimum of 1-year recent working experience as a Medical Assistant, EMT, LPN, Clinical Research Assistant, or Phlebotomist.
- Phlebotomy experience and proficiency required.
- Some Clinical Research experience preferred.

- $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
