Detroit Medical Center is seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Clinical Coordinator to lead our Telemetry team in Detroit, Michigan. This role offers a unique opportunity to leverage your leadership skills and clinical expertise to drive patient care excellence.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and delegate effectively. As a Clinical Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the provision of care through assigning and scheduling staff, prioritizing patient care, and evaluating patient outcomes. Additionally, you will assist in Process Improvement activities, work with the interdisciplinary team to problem-solve system and unit-based issues, and provide input into nursing staff performance appraisals.

This is a full-time night shift position, offering 36 hours per week. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and a comprehensive employee assistance program.

Responsibilities
  • Assumes shift responsibilities for the care delivery team
  • Coordinates the provision of care through assigning and scheduling staff
  • Prioritizes patient care and delegates tasks as needed
  • Evaluates patient outcomes and identifies areas for improvement
  • Assists in Process Improvement activities and develops new policies and procedures
  • Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to resolve system and unit-based issues
Requirements
  • Associates Degree or Diploma in Nursing required; BSN preferred
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Michigan
  • One to two years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in cardiovascular care
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate effectively
  • Ambulatory Care experience highly desirable
Salary and Benefits

We are offering a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
