Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Orthotics Coordinator to join our team at Hart Medical Equipment. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires ongoing education and training in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills in patient assessment, fitting orthoses, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Examine patients to determine their appliance needs and identify factors that could affect appliance fit
  • Fitting, testing, and evaluating devices on patients, making adjustments for proper fit, function, and comfort
  • Instructing patients in the use and care of orthoses
  • Maintaining patient records
  • Experience with HDMS, inventory management, and purchasing
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology
  • Strong background in patient care and customer relations
  • Familiarity with payer source requirements and legal aspects (preferred)
