Essential Qualifications:

This position is remote; however, candidates must reside in the Miami/Fort Lauderdale area.

As the Accounting Supervisor, you will be instrumental in managing our accounting functions effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and guide an accounting team, promoting a productive and cooperative work atmosphere.
  • Manage accounts payable, payroll, human resources, and general ledger activities.
  • Prepare and evaluate financial statements for various entities, including intercompany transactions.
  • Ensure timely and precise financial reporting in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Establish and uphold robust internal controls and accounting practices.
  • Work alongside cross-departmental teams to enhance and refine accounting processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in construction accounting, ideally in a supervisory capacity.
  • Skilled in accounting software, with a strong preference for Foundation software.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and various accounting applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Effective communication and leadership abilities, capable of mentoring team members.
  • Knowledge of intercompany accounting and multi-entity financial reporting.
