Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, and wine to both corporate and leisure patrons.
  • Handle beer kegs and dispense draft beer and bottled drinks.
  • Take and serve food orders from the bar menu prepared by the kitchen staff.
  • Ensure compliance with NC Liquor Laws by monitoring alcohol sales and verifying guest identification to confirm they meet the minimum age requirement of 21 years.
  • Engage in physical tasks such as lifting beer kegs and cases as necessary.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and preparation areas, ensuring they are well-stocked at all times.
  • Accurately balance shift reports and cash drawers, including processing credit card transactions.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and provide information about the venue and surrounding area.
  • Conduct pre and post-shift cleaning duties.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Demonstrate initiative and uphold the company’s commitment to safety, service, cleanliness, and integrity.
  • Ability to learn and operate the POS system effectively.
  • Work well in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs.
  • Must be able to pass a mandatory (or random) drug screening in accordance with company policy, unless prohibited by law.
  • Ability to pass a background check if 18 years or older, which may include credit, criminal, DMV, employment history, education, and personal references, as per company policy and applicable laws.
