Water Conservation Program Manager

Banyan Water is seeking a highly skilled Water Conservation Program Manager to join its Operations team in Northern and Southern California. As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of multiple standard and custom IoT SaaS projects. Your primary focus will be on determining and communicating priorities, issues, and solutions to cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product, and Engineering. You will also collaborate with commercial customers, property managers, landscapers, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and challenges, and exceed customer expectations to set the stage for multi-year relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the delivery of multiple IoT SaaS projects, ensuring timely and successful launches
  • Determine and communicate priorities, issues, and solutions to cross-functional teams
  • Liaise with commercial customers, property managers, and landscapers to understand their needs and challenges
  • Exceed customer expectations and set the stage for multi-year relationships
  • Serve as a product expert in front of customers, providing clear and concise explanations of Banyan solutions, analyses, and recommendations
  • Define and improve program success metrics, driving closure to technical issues and identifying areas for product improvement

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering, or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field
  • 2+ years of program management experience, with a focus on water conservation and sustainability
  • 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment, such as technology, consulting, or a startup
  • Strong customer-service, organization, planning, and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills, with the ability to work with remote teams and stakeholders
  • Attention to detail and a sense of ownership, with a proactive can-do attitude
  • Willingness to travel (25%)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MS in Science or Engineering, or related technical field (i.e. Horticulture, Agronomy, etc.)
  • Experience working in water/energy/sustainability/real estate
  • Experience with software development and operations
  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification
