This role serves as an expression of interest for part-time Selected Reserve (SELRES) positions within DIU.

Role Specifications:
DIU's Navy Administrative Support Part-Time SELRES positions are specifically designated for enlisted members currently associated with the Navy Reserve as Selected Reservists (SELRES), with a preference for E-6 ranks.

Responsibilities:
Navy SELRES personnel will provide essential support to DIU's Portfolio and Engagement teams, leveraging their military and civilian expertise. Key responsibilities include:

  • Drafting, typing, and distributing correspondence and reports
  • Organizing and managing files
  • Overseeing office personnel administration
  • Maintaining records and official documents
  • Assisting with administrative tasks related to legal matters
  • Serving as office managers
  • Executing various clerical and administrative duties
  • Updating and entering data into Enlisted Service Records
  • Facilitating personnel transitions, including transfers and retirements
  • Composing official letters and reports
  • Managing travel claims and financial reporting
  • Providing pay and entitlement information to Navy personnel
