Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Product Analyst to join our team at Silgan. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for analyzing customer inquiries and determining the most effective manufacturing solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze customer inquiries for ISBM, IBM, and IM opportunities and identify the most suitable manufacturing solutions.
  • Evaluate and define capital and operating costs associated with these solutions and recommend selling prices consistent with the marketplace and corporate guidelines.
  • Develop major price proposals and advise Pricing Analysts on the application of appropriate manufacturing parameters.
  • Maintain regular dialogue with Operations and Operational Excellence teams to stay informed about new technology and process developments.
  • Collaborate with Sales Directors to track market pricing and recommend pricing strategies to optimize market share and profitable growth.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Engineering, Marketing Research, Business (Finance/Accounting), or a related field.
  • 2+ years of prior business experience, preferably in marketing/pricing and financial analysis, as well as experience in plastic bottle/closure manufacturing operations and plastics processing.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, and financial modeling skills.
