Job Title: Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our Lux Row team in Bardstown, KY.

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for routine maintenance on distillery equipment, PLC and instrumentation troubleshooting, and electrical work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure preventive and routine maintenance is conducted.
  • Knowledge of all Distillery equipment, including pneumatics, pumps, hydraulics, valves, etc.
  • Communicate with the Distillery Supervisor and Maintenance Supervisor regarding equipment malfunction and corrective action on a daily basis.
  • Assist in maintaining and ensuring proper operation of the boiler, reverse osmosis (RO) system, water softener, chiller, and cooling tower.
  • Working knowledge and ability to service and troubleshoot programmable logical controller (PLC) and instrumentation.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience within the food and/or beverage field with a strong understanding of maintenance processes or licensed in a skilled trade.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work independently.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

The anticipated annual base salary for this position is between $33.00/hr-$38.00/hr. This salary range is not a promise of any specific salary for any specific employee, which is always dependent on factors such as actual candidate background, experience, education, skills, and work location.
