This role will be responsible for delivering personalized client service engagements, with the goal of achieving a one-call resolution. As the front line for all Treasury Management commercial clients, you will assist with complex solutions and ongoing servicing of Treasury Management products and services, complete system setup and maintenance for existing and new treasury management products and services.

You will also provide direct internal and external support, responding to general and technical inquiries related to treasury management products and commercial deposit accounts. This position requires a person who can empathize with clients, be motivated to achieve results through teamwork and collaboration, and be proactive about their own development and learning with an optimistic growth mindset.

Key Responsibilities
  • Effectively communicate with internal partners and external clients
  • Work with the entire Treasury Management Team to ensure all clients receive prompt and courteous service
  • Work directly with clients to solve issues with AB commercial products or services and work through to a successful outcome
  • Adhere to American Bank policies and procedures, and specifically work to manage risk associated with client transactions and their use of highly technical treasury management products and services
  • Authenticate customer identity and authorization to act on behalf of the account before making any changes or releasing account information
  • Set up Treasury Management services in partnership with Treasury Management Onboarding
  • Assist with mapping and testing of Treasury Management products and services (ACH, Positive Pay, Account Reconciliation, FTP formats for ACH, BAI2, ICL, Digital Deposit, automated investment options)
  • Use good time management to fulfill CRM requests and respond promptly to time-sensitive emails
  • Provide feedback to Treasury Management Sales & Onboarding, and as necessary, the Relationship Manager, concerning client issues
  • Have strong knowledge of the products and services offered by American Bank and be proficient in both commercial and retail products
  • Provide client training for all Treasury Management products and services
  • Send annual self-assessment questionnaires to Digital Deposit clients, and Annual Risk Reviews of Treasury product-related exposure
  • Prepare correspondence to clients for postal delivery or Internet delivery, ensuring secure email is used when necessary
  • Be the primary client support for all Treasury Management related inquiries and have knowledge of how the Treasury Management products enhance other products for back-up and referrals to Treasury Management Sales as opportunities arise
  • Perform Quality Control to ensure new clients are established as agreed, and maintenance of existing clients is performed accurately
  • Maintain Treasury Management Support internal spreadsheets
  • Process monthly reports as requested, ensuring deadlines are met
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
Requirements
  • Previous client contact experience
  • Previous banking experience
  • Previous knowledge of Treasury Management and deposit operations preferred
  • Previous experience working with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system preferred
  • Previous sales experience or training preferred
Qualifications
  • Working experience with computer hardware and software required, including word processing, spreadsheet, and Internet skills
  • Ability to operate telephone, copy, fax, and other miscellaneous office equipment
  • Ability to work autonomously and with a team
  • Detail and organizational skills experience
  • Ability to compose letters with sound thought, excellent grammar, and proper spelling required
  • Client contact skills experience (internal and external)
  • Positive attitude and professional appearance
  • Dependable transportation for potential travel to client locations
Education
  • High school graduation or equivalent
  • Two or more years of college preferred
