Job Title: Meat Department Assistant Manager

Coborn's Inc is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Meat Department Assistant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our meat department team, you will be responsible for assisting the Meat Department Manager in all facets of meat department operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Meat Department Manager in preparing products for sale, controlling freshness, and rotating or culling all products
  • Remove out-of-code merchandise and maintain accurate inventory records
  • Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer complaints in a professional manner
  • Supervise and train staff members, including directing workload, counseling, training, performance evaluations, and supervision
  • Manage expenses, inventory, shrink, and accurate record keeping
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • Previous experience in a meat department or related field required
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
