As an Educational Facilitator, your primary responsibility will be to enhance student success by effectively implementing instructional methods and strategies that align with our organizational policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging instruction utilizing curriculum resources and educational technology.
- Design daily lesson plans and classroom schedules that meet state and institutional standards.
- Collaborate with special education professionals and support staff to adapt curriculum and provide necessary instructional support.
- Establish and maintain standards for student behavior to create a safe and effective learning environment.
- Communicate regularly with students' families regarding academic progress and any challenges that may impact learning.
- Participate in team meetings to address specific student and family needs.
- Evaluate student progress through consistent analysis of classroom data.
- Stay informed about current research and best practices in education.
- Respond positively to feedback and engage in continuous improvement.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in education or a related field.
- Compliance with state teaching certification and licensing requirements.
- Experience in educational settings, preferably in alternative education.
- Proficiency in communication, instruction, curriculum development, and problem-solving.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
- Familiarity with state and national educational standards.
- Competence in using instructional technology and office software.
