Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our team at Enviro Systems Incorporated. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing manual machining operations to produce high-quality parts and components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate manual machining equipment, including drill presses, lathes, and milling machines, to produce parts and components.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications to ensure accurate machining operations.
  • Perform quality control checks on machined parts to ensure they meet specifications and standards.
  • Use hand tools, measuring instruments, and other equipment to inspect and test machined parts.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective production processes.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve machining operations and reduce waste.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; related experience and/or training preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Basic math skills, including decimals, fractions, and algebra.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment with attention to detail and quality.
  • Physical ability to lift, move, and maneuver heavy equipment and materials.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a shop environment with exposure to noise, dust, and other hazards. The ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
