Adecco is sourcing for a few Equipment Maintenance Technicians in the Largo/Seminole, FL area. This will be a great opportunity for someone that has good experience with maintaining, servicing, repairing, and troubleshooting electronic equipment/machinery in a manufacturing plant.

Requirements and Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of equipment, machinery, and systems to ensure they are operating efficiently and safely.

  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements.

  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to reduce equipment failures and extend lifespan.

  • Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.

  • Collaborate with other team members to address equipment-related issues and contribute to problem-solving efforts.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance activities.

  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergencies, minimizing downtime and production delays.

  • Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment as needed.

  • Maintain an organized and clean work area, adhering to safety standards and best practices.

  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to equipment maintenance.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, industrial maintenance, or a related field preferred.

  • Proven experience as an Equipment Maintenance Technician or similar role.

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems and their components.

  • Proficiency in using hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and maintenance software.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

  • Flexibility to work irregular hours or overtime as needed.

Pay Details: 28.09 to 29.68 per hour
