Customer Service Representative Job Summary

Welcome to NRG Energy, a leading provider of energy solutions. We're seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, resolving customer inquiries, and providing support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat, providing timely and accurate solutions to their concerns.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues and provide seamless customer experiences.
  • Stay up-to-date on product and service offerings, as well as industry trends and developments, to provide informed and accurate information to customers.
  • Meet or exceed customer service metrics, including response times, resolution rates, and customer satisfaction scores.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2-4 years of customer service experience in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and issue resolution.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, internal teams, and external partners.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve complex customer issues.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Physical Requirements:
