Job Title: Director of Service Line Business Operations

The Director of Service Line Business Operations plays a pivotal role in driving the strategic design and execution of comprehensive business development plans for the Cardiovascular Service Line. This position requires a collaborative approach, partnering with the Service Line Administrator and Physician Leadership to identify growth opportunities, competitive trends, and emerging patient needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify growth opportunities and competitive trends.
  • Develop and execute business development plans to drive growth, market expansion, and revenue generation.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop business cases and feasibility studies for new programs, services, and partnerships.
  • Monitor industry dynamics, healthcare regulations, and reimbursement policies to proactively identify risks and opportunities.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators related to business development efforts.
Financial Analysis and Performance Monitoring:
  • Conduct financial analysis and forecasting for the service line, including revenue and expense analysis, budgeting, and financial modeling.
  • Monitor and evaluate key financial metrics, such as revenue, expenses, profitability, and return on investment.
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimization, revenue enhancement, and operational efficiency improvements.
Collaboration and Leadership:
  • Foster a collaborative and cross-functional approach by engaging with clinical leaders, department heads, and other senior leaders.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the access and business teams.
  • Partner with the SL Administrator to collaborate with marketing and communications teams to develop effective communication strategies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree must be obtained within 4 years of hire or transfer.
  • 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience demonstrating expertise in finance or business development within the healthcare industry.

Physical Demands:

This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings and programs.
