Job Description:

At Health & Human Services Comm, we're seeking a highly skilled Training and Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring our employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct facility and agency core and specialty competency-based training, including orientation, refresher, and local training requirements.
Evaluate employee competencies and skills as outlined in policy and/or course requirements.
Document class attendance and participation using rosters, class assessments, and performance checklists.
Ensure all required documentation meets performance criteria and is accurate.

Requirements:

Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in human resources, business administration, education, communication, journalism, technical writing, or a related field is generally preferred.
Experience providing services to persons with developmental disabilities in a large institutional/residential setting and/or paid experience facilitating/conducting competency-based training to employees or adult learners in a classroom or on-the-job setting is required.
