Job Title: Nurse III Infection Control Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse III Infection Control Specialist to join our team at the Texas Department of Aging & Disability Services. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing infection control programs to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement infection control programs to prevent and control the spread of infections
* Conduct surveillance rounds to identify areas of risk and implement corrective actions
* Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement policies and procedures related to infection control
* Provide education and training to staff on infection control practices and procedures
* Analyze data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Nursing
* Current RN licensure in the state of Texas
* 3+ years of experience in infection control or a related field
* Strong knowledge of infection control principles and practices
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
