Job Overview

vTech Solution Inc is seeking a qualified Systems Engineer to support our client's technology infrastructure.

Position Duration: Six months with potential for extension or permanent placement.

Work Environment: This is an on-site role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct solicitation actions for the staffing of a Systems Engineer.
  • Oversee the management and provision of technology solutions for enterprise environments.
  • Utilize expertise to install, manage, maintain, and troubleshoot a comprehensive computing and storage environment.
  • Provide continuous support for enterprise hardware and software.
  • Create and maintain standard operating procedure (SOP) documentation.
  • Generate reports and metrics for performance analysis and future planning.
  • Establish and execute a Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedule.
  • Offer technical guidance to staff and contractors as necessary.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or a High School Diploma with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in managing Microsoft Server Platforms, including Windows Server and SQL Server.
  • 3+ years of experience with Pure Storage arrays and backup services.
  • 2+ years of experience in creating integrated solution designs for server and storage environments.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs regularly.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with VMware vSAN and VEEAM Enterprise Backup.
  • Certifications in relevant technologies are a plus.

Additional Technologies:

Familiarity with tools such as Recast, ManageEngine, and ServiceNow is beneficial.
