We are seeking a highly skilled Special Education Teacher to join our team in the Kewa Pueblo, New Mexico area.

About the Role

This is a contracted position for a Special Education Teacher who will work with high needs, medically fragile students. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1+ years of special education experience and a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

As a Special Education Teacher, you will be responsible for creating and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) that cater to the unique needs of each student. You will also work closely with other educators, therapists, and healthcare professionals to ensure that our students receive comprehensive support.

The salary for this position ranges from $35 to $40 per hour, depending on your experience and qualifications. Health benefits are optional, but we encourage you to inquire about additional details.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Minimum:
    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
    • New Mexico Special Education teaching license with gifted endorsement
  • Preferred:
    • Masters degree in education with emphasis in special education
    • Bilingual in Spanish/English
