The Kewa Pueblo Health Corporation (KPHC) is seeking a highly skilled Account Specialist to join our team in the Purchase Referred Care department.

Job Summary

This role requires strong analytical and communication skills to process various transactions, compile reports, and verify payment data for Purchased/Referred Care applications and third-party billing activity. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently with minimal supervision, maintain confidentiality, and adhere to all professional and ethical behavior standards of the healthcare industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process a wide variety of transactions and compile reports for Purchased/Referred Care applications and third-party billing activity.
  • Identify transaction types, extract, compile, and verify payment data.
  • Compute and adjust account balances, prepare required forms and records, and submit and maintain current assignment of benefits.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information and uphold all principles of confidentiality and patient care to the fullest extent.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • No prior experience required, but post-secondary education from Business/Technical School or Associate's Degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Bilingual skills in English and the Keres Native language are also desirable.
Work Environment

An estimated salary for this position is $ 45,000 - 60,000 per year, based on the location and the company size. Benefits may include health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan matching.
