You will work under the direction of the Chief of Radiology and the Imaging Services Director, utilizing your expertise and independent judgment to perform related technological functions that ensure optimal diagnostic quality of patient care.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiologic technology, with at least two years of experience as a MRI Technologist. You will be proficient in all aspects of MRI procedures, including operating imaging equipment and providing exceptional patient care.
We are looking for a motivated and organized individual who can effectively communicate with patients, staff, and visitors. Your ability to present information in one-on-one and small group settings will be essential in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality images
- Perform related technological functions to ensure optimal diagnostic quality
- Interview patients to explain MRI procedures and address concerns
- Ensure patient and staff safety during imaging procedures
- Orient new hires and train MRI Technologists
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- ARRT certification preferred
- 2+ years of experience as a MRI Technologist
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
