We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist II to join our team at Lensa. As an MRI Technologist II, you will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.
Under the direction of the Chief of Radiology and the Imaging Services Director, you will perform related technological functions to ensure optimal diagnostic quality of patient care utilizing efficient and safe processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies.
- Perform patient studies according to set protocols, including placing specified coils close to areas of interest.
- Interview patients to explain magnetic resonance imaging procedures and address their concerns.
- Ensure patient and staff safety by explaining safety protocols and monitoring patients via closed-circuit TV.
- Orient new hires and train MRI Technologists, students, and trainees in MRI procedures.
Requirements:
- Minimum two years of continuous recent experience as a MRI Technologist.
- Fully proficient in all duties required of a MRI Technologist II.
- Radiologic Technologist Certificate (California).
- Certified Radiologic Technologist - Venipuncture Certificate (California) within 6 months of hire.
- Basic Life Support.
