Department of Medicine: Transplant Nephrologist Position

The Department of Medicine at Rutgers University is seeking a highly skilled Transplant Nephrologist to join our team. As a key member of our division, you will be responsible for providing clinical services at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and the academic practices of the medical school. Your expertise will be focused on direct care of renal and pancreas transplant candidates, recipients, and living donors, including pre-transplant evaluation, inpatient care, and post-transplant management. Additionally, you will assist the on-call general nephrologist for transplant-related issues and participate in daily transplant teaching rounds with fellows and house staff.
Responsibilities
Provide clinical services to renal and pancreas transplant candidates, recipients, and living donors
Assist the on-call general nephrologist for transplant-related issues
Participate in daily transplant teaching rounds with fellows and house staff
Review charts, laboratory studies, radiology, and diagnostic studies for transplant candidates and recipients
Requirements
MD/DO or equivalent degree
Board eligible in Internal Medicine and/or Nephrology
