We are seeking a highly skilled Renal Pathologist to join our team at Northwell Health Physician Partners. As a key member of our Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, you will play a critical role in providing expert diagnostic services and collaborating with our team of nephrologists, transplant nephrologists, surgeons, and pediatric nephrologists.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, with a strong focus on education and teaching. You will have the chance to work alongside trainees at various levels and from diverse specialties, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
Responsibilities- Provide expert diagnostic services in renal pathology, including native kidney biopsies and transplant kidney biopsies
- Collaborate closely with our team of nephrologists, transplant nephrologists, surgeons, and pediatric nephrologists
- Participate in the development and implementation of educational programs for trainees and healthcare professionals
- Contribute to the growth and development of our Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a subspecialty-trained Renal Pathologist with excellent communication skills and a strong foundation of knowledge. You will also need to be committed to education and teaching, and have a passion for working in a collaborative environment.
