Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Coordinator to join our team at Magellan Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compliance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze compliance-related data and reports to identify potential issues and areas for improvement.
  • Incident Reporting: Assist with analyzing and reporting privacy incidents, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to relevant stakeholders.
  • Verification Activities: Conduct compliance-related verification activities to ensure that corrective actions were completed, and corrective actions are implemented as needed.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative tasks for the department, including recording auditing activities in databases and preparing draft reports based on documents provided by the Compliance team.
  • Service Activity Management: Manage the verification of service activity (FWA activity) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Compliance Reporting: Collect and report data for compliance reports, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to relevant stakeholders.
  • External Communications: Log and report external communications, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Authorization Management: Assist with managing Authorization to Use or Disclose (AUD) process, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Clinical Records Management: Respond to clinical records requests, ensuring timely and accurate response to relevant stakeholders.
  • Policies and Procedures: Manage policies and procedures as directed by the Compliance Officer, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Compliance Committee Support: Prepare data reports for the compliance committee, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to relevant stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Strong analytical, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail are required for this role.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to organize work, detail-oriented, strong problem-solving skills, works well under pressure, delivers on tight timelines, and seeks help on tasks where needed.
  • Writing and Proofing Skills: Strong writing and proofing skills are required to ensure documents meet standards and are accurate.
  • Project Management Experience: Experience in project management, data gathering, and reporting, and detailed review of health-related materials is preferred.
Education and Experience
  • Education: GED, High School, or equivalent is required. Associate's degree is preferred.
  • Work Experience: Compliance, Project/Program Management experience is required. Experience in healthcare compliance is preferred.
Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $41,505 - $62,255. This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
