Requirements
  • Required Education and/or Work Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
    • 3+ years in financial analysis, accounting, audit, or regulatory functions, demonstrating exceptional analytical and forecasting abilities.
    • Proficient in building models (financial), performing scenario analysis, and/or utilizing financial software programs and applications.
    • Strong ability to provide insights and clearly communicate to support informed decision-making.
    • Proficiency in MS Office tools, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Preferred Education and/or Work Experience:
    • Working knowledge of regulatory principles and practice, particularly as it relates to Hawaii.
    • Industry-specific experience in the utility or energy sector, or a deep understanding of Hawaii's regulatory landscape or related experience.
  • Preferred Licensure, Certification, Registration or Designation:
    • Relevant certifications or qualifications such as Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Regulatory and Compliance Professional (CRCP).
