Position Overview:

The Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC) is seeking a dedicated IT User Support Technician to provide assistance and support to our employees in relation to hardware and software installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

The ideal candidate will be self-driven and excel in a dynamic, customer-focused environment. A strong commitment to personal and professional growth is essential. The individual should demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and possess outstanding problem-solving skills while adhering to the organization's standards and values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to ACHC's Quality Management System (QMS), established policies, and procedures, ensuring the achievement of quality objectives.
  • Coordinate with vendors for ongoing operational and project-related support.
  • Manage status changes, including setup and configuration, for team members.
  • Stay informed about technological advancements and implement security best practices.
  • Engage in the selection and implementation of vendor and technology tools.
  • Contribute to the review of policies and procedures.
  • Participate in annual reviews of access and rights.
  • Assist in business continuity preparedness exercises.
  • Support security and private card industry audits.
  • Provide technology training to team members as required.
  • Diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and execute corrective action procedures.
  • Perform additional IT-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience in IT-related fields, or
  • 5+ years of experience in information technology and customer service support.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills are mandatory.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows 10 installation and support.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 administration; knowledge of Intune and Azure AD is advantageous.
  • Experience in supporting remote users and deploying software and patches remotely.
  • Familiarity with managing changes in Microsoft Active Directory.
  • Experience in supporting Apple iOS and Android operating systems.
  • Experience with Mac devices is essential.
  • Knowledge of network switches, access points, and firewalls is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills, including attention to detail and the ability to multitask.

Work Environment:

This position is primarily office-based, with opportunities for hybrid remote work. Compensation includes a base salary along with a quarterly bonus.
