Unit Description:

Sodexo Live's Airport Lounge Segment has an exciting opportunity for a Sous Chef / Kitchen Manager to support the team at our American Express Centurion Lounge at Atlanta International Airport in Atlanta, GA. We are seeking a manager with prior culinary supervisory/management skills and hands-on food production experience to join our growing team. Sodexo will be operating and managing this exclusive, luxury airport lounge, offering top-tier amenities and expanded premium food and beverage offerings to its elite guests. The successful candidate will report to the Executive Chef.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Purchasing, menu/recipe compliance, inventory, food production forecasting, and hands-on cooking;
  • Supervision of large-scale batch cooking;
  • Ensuring Sodexo Culinary standards, including recipe compliance and food quality, are implemented;
  • Developing and motivating team members to embrace culinary innovations;
  • Ensuring food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standard compliance;
  • Working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production, and management systems.
Requirements:
  • A supervisory culinary background within hotel banquets, country clubs, and upscale restaurants with the demonstrated ability to stay current with new culinary trends;
  • Excellent mentoring/leadership and communication skills with the ability to maintain the highest of culinary standards;
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings or late evenings, including weekends and holidays;
  • Strong coaching and employee development skills;
  • A passion for food and innovation.

Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
Basic Management Experience - 1 year
