We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to lead our Surgical Services team as a Director. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing policies, procedures, and strategies to drive clinical excellence and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement departmental goals, plans, and standards aligned with the organization's clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements.
- Plan, organize, and direct all activities related to staffing, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, and continuing education initiatives.
- Prepare budgets and ensure compliance with allocated funding.
- Coordinate and direct internal and external audits.
- Direct and evaluate all clinical activities, including care plan development, service level determination, and complaint management.
- Licensure: Current Registered Nurse licensure in Florida or compact state.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in nursing or diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing. Master's degree or combination of Bachelor's degree and experience preferred.
- Experience: 5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with 2 years of leadership or management experience required. 10 years of experience preferred.
