About This Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Cashier Team Member to join our team at Sam's Club. As a Cashier Team Member, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating cash registers, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

About the Role:

  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operate cash registers accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card transactions, and returns.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment by restocking shelves, facing merchandise, and completing other tasks as assigned.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals, meet productivity standards, and maintain a positive store image.

What You'll Do:

  • Maintain safety of facility according to company policies and procedures by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, and correcting and reporting unsafe situations to facility management.
  • Provide member service by acknowledging the member and identifying members needs, assisting members with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, and promoting the company's products and services.
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans, using the Open Door Policy, and applying these in executing business processes and practices.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of retail experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and move around the store as needed.
