Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Technician

Amentum is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our facility maintenance team in Jacksonville, FL.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical maintenance, with experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems, including low and medium voltage distribution systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, responding to emergency calls, and completing work orders in a CMMS system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on electrical systems, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed.
  • Respond to emergency calls and perform repairs as needed.
  • Complete work orders in a CMMS system, including documenting work performed and materials used.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance schedules and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and maintenance personnel to ensure smooth operation of the facility.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in an industrial environment.
  • Knowledge of National Electric Code (NEC) and OSHA regulations.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or equivalent trade school or apprenticeship program in industrial electrical or a related skilled trade.
  • Experience with low and medium voltage electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repair.
  • Knowledge of electrical safety procedures and protocols.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
