We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Texas Oncology. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our clinical team.
Key Responsibilities- Assist physicians and clinicians with patient care duties in a clinical environment
- Promote efficient patient flow and patient care, including exams and procedures
- Perform clinic support tasks, including miscellaneous clerical duties and maintaining physician schedules
- Support and adhere to the US Oncology Compliance Program, including the Code of Ethics and Business Standards
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Certificate of graduation from an accredited program for Medical Assistants preferred
- Minimum 0-3 years experience as a medical assistant or nursing assistant
- Current BCLS certification required within 3 months of hire
- Certified Medical Assistant preferred
