Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist II to join our team at Houston Methodist. This role is responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic CT procedures, including common and special exams of high difficulty. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computed tomography scanning and be able to work independently, exercising sound judgment and executing above-average clinical skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic radiology procedures, including CT exams, to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Assist physicians with diagnostic and special CT procedures, including sterile technique.
  • Provide accurate explanations and instructions to patients and family members, utilizing verbal and non-verbal skills, terminology, and language.
  • Maintain proper sterile techniques for procedures, regularly practice aseptic techniques, and ensure compliance with infection control procedures.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an education program approved by the credentialing body for the required credential(s) indicated below in the Certifications, Licenses and Registrations section.
  • Three years of experience as a CT Technologist.
  • Current certifications and licenses, including ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, and BLS.
