Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a skilled Polysomnography Technologist to join their team in Horseshoe Bay, Texas. As a Polysomnography Technologist III, you will be responsible for coordinating the daily operations of the Sleep Laboratory, ensuring the highest level of quality and patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform Polysomnographic studies in a clinical setting, including oxygen and nasal continuous positive airway pressure titrations.
  • Score studies and formulate reports for physician interpretation.
  • Communicate instructions, results, and relative information to patients, physicians, and family members.
  • Calibrate and perform routine and troubleshooting maintenance on equipment, contacting manufacturers for repairs as needed.
  • Consult regularly with the Medical Director regarding patient studies.

Requirements:

  • Advanced knowledge of Polysomnographic Care modalities, therapies, equipment, and medications.
  • Ability to read, write, and follow flow chart protocols as appropriate.
  • Ability to communicate thoughts clearly, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to work under stressful conditions.
  • Ability to maintain and troubleshoot audio and video equipment.
  • Advanced computer skills, including data entry, information security, electronic medical documentation, handheld scanning, and email.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's or 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualification.
  • 3 Years of Experience as a Polysomnography Technologist.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
