Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Inspector to join our team at Delon Hampton & Associates, Chartered. As a Construction Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting site inspections and field testing to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performing site inspections and field testing to verify compliance with project specifications and regulations
  • Completing daily field reports and progress updates to track project progress
  • Tracking contractor quantities of work performed and reviewing contractor's monthly progress update schedules
  • Attending and documenting progress meetings and other meetings
  • Reviewing contractor's submittals and RFIs and tracking resolution of deficiencies noted in reports
Requirements
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of experience as a Field Inspector
  • Familiarity with Primavera Unifier or other web-based construction management software
  • Experience working on roadways in the District of Columbia
  • Experience in green infrastructure, stormwater, sewer or other utility construction inspection and field testing
Working Conditions

The work environment is primarily conducted in a general office environment, with field work required approximately 90% of the time. Field work may be conducted outside in various weather conditions, and some lifting (up to 50 lbs.) may be required as needed.
