Job Overview

Position: Low Voltage Installation Specialist

We are seeking experienced Low Voltage Installation Specialists with a minimum of 1 year of experience in a commercial setting. This role is crucial for our ongoing projects and requires skilled individuals who can contribute effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installing and managing CAT 5 or CAT 6 cabling in commercial construction projects.
  • Terminating telecommunications jacks and organizing distribution frames (including 66 or 110 blocks, patch panels).
  • Setting up support systems such as ladders, racks, and j-hooks.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of BICSI, EIA, TIA, or NEC Standards.
  • Experience with conduit installation, digital multi-meters, and cable testing.
  • Proficient in rack and stack operations, including server racks and patch panels.
  • Ability to interpret and work from schematic and line diagrams.
  • Possession of essential telecom tools such as punch downs, snips, wire strippers, cordless drills, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
