KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accurately select and count materials as per shipping documentation.
  • Prepare and label orders for shipment.
  • Transport materials to designated areas for shipping or customer pickup.
  • Assist clients and delivery personnel in loading materials into vehicles.
  • Receive and organize incoming materials, ensuring proper storage in the warehouse.
  • Manage the intake and verification of raw materials, purchased goods, and returned items.
  • Process shipments via UPS, FedEx, and other carriers, completing necessary documentation.
  • Inspect received products against packing lists and purchase orders to confirm specifications.
  • Conduct visual inspections of goods for any damage during transit.
  • Create labels for non-standard and special items.
  • Prepare orders for will-call and truck deliveries.
  • Restock shelves and manage returns efficiently.
  • Support customers and drivers with loading orders as needed.
  • May serve as a backup delivery driver when required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of relevant experience or training; or a combination of education and experience.
  • Experience operating a forklift is preferred.
  • Previous driving experience and a Class D License are advantageous.
