We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Radiology Nursing Service team at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. As a Radiology Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced imaging environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize the principles of the nursing process to provide continuity and quality of nursing care to patients of all ages.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care to patients served by the Department of Imaging Services.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.

Requirements:

  • NYS RN License Required
  • Accredited School of Nursing Graduate
  • 1 Year Specialized Experience Required; Procedural Experience Preferred
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS Required

Working Conditions:

  • Significant manual skills/motor coordination and finger dexterity
  • Significant occupational risk
  • Very Heavy effort. May exert up to 50 lbs. force
  • Significant exposure to dirt, odors, noise, human waste, etc.
