Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Manager to join our team at HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood. As a Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our Acute Care Telemetry unit, ensuring that our patients receive high-quality, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Director in coordinating department activities to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Provide clinical support and guidance to nursing staff, promoting a culture of excellence and professionalism.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Monitor and analyze unit performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Requirements
  • 3 years of experience in an acute care setting, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
  • Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS Certification.
