Motor Coach Driver Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Motor Coach Driver to transport passengers safely and comfortably. The ideal candidate will possess a valid Commercial Driver's License and have experience driving large vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a large Motor Coach safely and efficiently, adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
  • Ensure the comfort and safety of passengers, providing excellent customer service.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Follow company policies and procedures, including those related to hours of service, driver logs, and vehicle maintenance.
  • Communicate effectively with passengers, dispatchers, and other drivers to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a passenger endorsement.
  • Class A or B CDL with no air brake restriction.
  • At least 21 years of age (insurance requirements).
  • Good oral communication skills and ability to read and speak English fluently.
  • Ability to follow instructions and take direction.
  • Working knowledge of vehicle and safety control systems.
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations governing safe driving, hours of service, inspection and maintenance, and transportation of passengers.
