Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Webmaster to manage and maintain web-based applications and portals for the Military Health System. This role will involve designing, developing, and implementing new web features and enhancements using modern web technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development, content management systems, and user experience design.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field with 5-7 years of experience in web development and management, or
- Master's degree in a relevant field with 3-5 years of experience in web development and management, or
- PhD with 0-2 years of experience in web development and management
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal)
- Knowledge of web design principles and user experience (UX) best practices
- Familiarity with web development frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js)
- Understanding of responsive design and mobile-first approaches
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Knowledge of web security best practices and common vulnerabilities
- Familiarity with SEO principles and web analytics tools
- Basic understanding of server-side programming languages (e.g., PHP, Python, Node.js)
- Experience with web hosting environments and server management
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance

Benefits and Salary
The estimated salary for this position is $115,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company matching, flexible spending accounts, paid holidays, three weeks paid time off, and more.

Working Environment and Conditions
This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
